Springfield MO---The Springfield Police Department has warned residents to watch out for missing or partially dismantled peepholes and asked the public to report any suspicious activity, such as someone loitering in hallways or trying to peer into hotel rooms or apartments. After receiving reports of about 130 such thefts since January, they're concerned the reason could pose a danger to local residents.

Did Somebody Miss  Dinner?
Gainesville FL---
Crystal McCook, 29, was charged with throwing a “deadly missile” into a vehicle according to a Gainesville Police arrest report. At the time, car owner Leland Alexander Mercer and two passengers were inside the car. McCook was seen throwing a 15–pound duffel bag from the top of her stairs onto the car, followed by plates and a glass candle holder, the report said. Debris and spaghetti sauce were left on the hood of the car. Police found a bowl of spaghetti in McCook’s apartment and plates in her sink matching the broken pieces, according to the report. However, McCook denied throwing the objects.

Best Quote of the Week Regarding British Tourists:
“They scream, they sing, they fall down, they take their clothes off, they cross-dress, they vomit,” Malia’s mayor, Konstantinos Lagoudakis, said in an interview. “It is only the British people — not the Germans or the French.”
